Did you enjoy working on The Bill and would you like to return to it given the chance?

The Bill was great, yeah I would like to return, that would be nice.

Can you remember of some funny incident which occurred whilst filming Dangerfield?

Nigel Havers would make me laugh a lot, he’s very charming. I can’t remember a particular incident but the whole thing was a lot of fun. Actually once I called a character by the name of another character all the way through a scene and didn’t even notice.

Do you know how your Crossroads Mark 2 storylines would have continued? How would you continue them?

I would have Kate hold up the staff at gun point and execute a robbery!! No seriously I don’t know, perhaps Billy and Kate would have run the place together with the obvious problems their volatile relationship would bring up.

How did you feel when you first walked into the Crossroads set/met the cast? 

I’m always in a dream when I start a new job, I think it’s a form of nerves!!

I think what people would really like to know is what did you really think of Crossroads Mark III and
Yvon Grace? Was there a divide between old cast members and new cast members?

There wasn’t a divide, no. And as for what I really thought, I always feel lucky to be working.

I'd like to know what it was like working with Nigel Havers and Gilly Gilchrist?

Both are charming, naughty and real fun.

I'd love to see you in a musical, would you like to star in something like Mamma Mia or Chicago? Do you like to sing? 

That would be great. My singing is a bit rusty – But I have appeared in musicals in the past.

Did you like the direction that the Crossroads producers took Kate in? If you could have been another character, who would it have been?

No other character, I loved Kate.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be and is there any chance that you could persuade the theatre companies you work for to spread their wings as far as Aberdeen?

Just as long as it was somewhere my little girl likes it’s O.K by me. And who knows where I will work in the future.

Everyone loved Sex & the City, which character would you liked to have played and why?

Any of them I just love the whole programme. I’m a huge fan.

Would you have been friends with Kate? Which Kate did you prefer (MKII or III) and what advice would you have given her?

Yes she had a good heart, but sometimes I would have said, stop arguing with your children so much but that wouldn’t be good television!!

Would you ever consider doing a show like Celebrity Big Brother or I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here?

Never say never!

What was your favourite storyline for Kate? What did you think of the Kate and Billy storyline that proved to be one of the most popular storylines in Crossroads Mark II?

I thought the Billy/Kate story lines were very good because it was a case of opposites attracts so there was good chemistry.
